The gentleman who took the car away rolled it off the drive & onto their pick-up vehicle without needing my help. He completed the relevant documentation & provided a receipt, acknowledging my vehicle had been taken. A very polite, professional & helpful service from start to finish. Would definitely recommend Lowes as I understand some companies state one price then use excuses to reduce their offer which was not the case with Lowes. The money was in my account within the hour slot I was told to expect to receive it.

month ago to declare interest but advised my road was closed for 31 days so collection would be difficult to which a very helpful lady (Dawn) replied and said no problem she'd get back to me after this time. Sure enough, she did without any need for me to contact them again. She even advised that the price of scrap had gone up during this time so they were increasing their original offer by £40 which I thought was extremely honest and good of them. On collection this morning, they were punctual down to the minute. I received a certificate of destruction along with an email stating that payment would be made at 18:00 this evening. I have just received the money into my bank a full hour earlier than I was told. Cannot fault this service at all and everyone every step of the way has been nothing but courteous and helpful. Extremely highly recommended.

Lowes was giving the best scrap value and it is that reason i decided to use them and was a little appehensive as not used them before. But looked at there reviews and was happy to proceed. They was really nice polite and very friendly and helpful, the lady in the office got me booked in promptly for the collection of my car and arranged for a COD i requested, the man who collected it was also friendly and helpful and loaded the car and completed the paperwork with me and said the payment for the car should be in your account by this evening, It was in my account at around 4pm, and i received the COD (CERTIFICATE OF DESTRUCTION) by email the next morning, also the lady in the office called me the next day to say the COD had been sent by email and it may end up in your spam/junk folder. Very impressed with the complete service and would recommend to others looking to scrap a car, also check prices as the scrap value goes up and down and lowes was giving the best price at the time beating others by over £40 to £50

I had to write this comment because I experienced the surprise that started with the first phone call.They was really nice polite and very friendly and helpful, the lady in the office got me booked in.the truck driver who collected it my van was also friendly and helpful and he knows he's job well ,he loaded the van and completed the paperwork with me to scrap my van due to the London ulez expansion ..i received the COD (CERTIFICATE OF DESTRUCTION) by email and the payment for the van was in my account same day . I had to get my Father-in-laws car scrapped for him as part of the ULEZ scheme. I'd never scrapped a car and am not even a driver myself so it was a sudden responsibility after a change in family circumstances meant he wasn't at home to sort it out. Lowes contacted me quickly, stayed true to their quote and were very quick and professional in dealing with everything from the original phone call to arrange collection right through to providing the certificate of destruction. bit nervous when scrapping my car and was half expecting someone who was a bit of a delboy to turn up with 5 mates and offer me half of what i'd been quoted but instead a guy called Kyle came and was incredibly friendly and put my mind at ease immediately. The trailer he used to collect the car had the company name on it and he gave me an envelope with my invoice and receipt inside. He did his checks and helped me sort out the V5C document and the whole process was very professional and genuine. You fill in details on site, get a quote, accept quote, you are contacted to arrange collection, collection is prompt and on time......then wave goodbye to your car as disappears into the ether, to eventually be turned into something else, like another car, or a lawnmower or the metal bits of a metal detector. The possibilities are endless...unlike this sentence.
